Farmers Market, Part 2

North end of the Outlet Mall.

I don’t get to go to many of the local farmers markets due to my work schedule, but fortunately, there are a couple that occur during my days off. This year, the Outlet Mall started hosting a farmers market on Sundays. Most of the vendors are the same ones that are at Ardovino’s. Highlights include the beautiful backdrop of the mountains, a lady that sells sun tea with your choice of mint or lemon garnishes, and of course the Outlet Mall.

Outlet Mall

I really want to go to The Garden at the Maze in La Union. You can pick your own vegetables!

Have you been to any farmers markets this year? What have been your experiences?

Thanks to the Scene Magazine, here is a listing of our region’s farmers markets. Let me know if I’m missing any. Brown text is hyperlinked.

  2. Hi there! I was so excited to read this. I then noticed the date. I am praying this info is still true as I will be moving to El Paso by end of March 2017. Can you please share what you know currently? Thanks in advance for any help!

    • Hi Deb! Welcome to El Paso in advance! I am working to update the blog soon. The majority of this post info is out of date, but we do have 2 year round farmers markets on Saturdays- one at Ardovinos Desert Crossing (times vary by season) and the Downtown Farmers Market, 9am-1pm. There are a couple of other locations that are working on offering upcoming markets like Nosh and the Fountains shopping center. We also have a few CSA harvest box subscriptions available. I wrote about them in another post, which may also be outdated, but links with updated info should be current. Thanks for stopping by!
